Using a DICOM router, studies can be easily exported, imported and also modified. This is particularly beneficial to connect different systems each other or to separate studies.

Another major advantage of the DICOM router is the comparison of studies and your PACS. If inconsistencies are found here, the system can change studies and assign them to the correct patient.
